Standard Sports Therapy Services:

  • Physiotherapy
    30 min. sessions recommended for 1 joint issues
    60 min. sessions recommended for complicated/multi-joint issues
    -
    Standard Injury Assessment - history and objective testing
      (active, passive, resisted & stability tests)
    - Manual Therapy - joint and spinal mobilization and manipulation incl
      McKenzie and Mulligan techniques
    - Soft Tissue Therapy - including myofascial, ART and deep tissue
    - Electrotherapy - ultra-sound for swelling and scar breakdown
    - Athletic & Postural Taping - acute and chronic applications
    - Soft Tissue Needling - improve muscle tone and promote muscle reactivation
    - Home Exercise Prescription - body rolling, along with theraband,
      swiss ball and yoga based exercises
    - Specialist Referral - based on assessment may recommend x-Ray,
      CT scan, MRI scan or surgical consult

High Performance Services:

  • Full Body Biomechanical Assessment with Written Report
    120 min. session
    - complete musculoskeletal and functional assessment including written analysis,
      problem list and management plan
    - recommended for off season training or pre competition season

  • Training
    60 min. session
    - supervised home or gym training improving strength, balance, coordination,
      proprioception, endurance and flexibility

  • Advanced Rehab Programs - 3 stage customized written rehabilitation
    programs following stages of healing based on injury assessment

Competition Physio Services:

  • Event coverage
    - monitor and treat injured athletes, providing on-site first aid and
      injury diagnosis and recovery at games or competitions.
  • Team Services
    - tour with sporting team and assist with pre & post event screening,
      strapping, bracing, injury management and rehabilitation
